Food bags for transplant patients: a recipe for better recovery?

NCT ID NCT06802406

First seen May 01, 2026 · Last updated Jun 08, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study looks at whether providing free bags of groceries to patients undergoing stem cell transplants or CAR-T cell therapy can help improve their nutrition and treatment results. Many patients face high medical costs that make it hard to afford enough food, which can hurt their recovery. The study will enroll 210 people aged 8 to 80 who are planning to receive these treatments and are struggling with food insecurity.
