Stanford sends meals to fight hunger and diabetes

NCT ID NCT06329375

Summary

This study is testing whether providing meals and food education after a hospital stay can help people with diabetes who struggle to afford enough food. Researchers will enroll 160 hospitalized patients with diabetes and food insecurity in California. Some will receive 90 days of meal delivery and nutrition coaching, while others get standard care, to see if the extra support improves food security and diabetes health.
