Summary
This study tested a program to help low-income people with type 2 diabetes who struggle to afford healthy food. For 12 weeks, 101 participants received boxes of diabetes-friendly food delivered to their homes along with easy-to-understand education materials. Researchers wanted to see if this direct support could improve blood sugar control, diet quality, and self-management skills.
