Flushing or not? new study tests best way to collect eggs in tough fertility cases

NCT ID NCT07270081

First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looked at 40 women with low ovarian reserve (poor response to fertility drugs) to see if flushing the follicle with a special needle helps collect more eggs than just sucking them out. Each woman had one ovary treated with the flushing method and the other with the standard method. The goal was to find out which technique works better for these patients.
