NCT ID NCT02143219
First seen Apr 25, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tested a chemotherapy combination called FOLFIRINOX, with doses adjusted based on patients' genetics, in 72 people aged 70 and older with metastatic pancreatic cancer. The goal was to see if this approach could control the cancer while reducing side effects and helping patients keep their ability to perform daily activities. The treatment aims to manage the disease, not cure it, and patients may need ongoing care.
