New prostate cancer radiation aims to spare side effects

Summary
This study tests a type of internal radiation therapy (HDR-BT) that targets only the tumor in the prostate, rather than the whole gland. The goal is to control the cancer while reducing long-term urinary and sexual problems often caused by standard treatments. About 45 men with early-stage prostate cancer will take part.
