Precision freezing aims to control prostate cancer without Whole-Gland treatment

NCT ID NCT05454488

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study tests whether freezing just the part of the prostate that contains cancer (focal cryotherapy) can control intermediate-risk prostate cancer. About 30 men with a single area of cancer will receive this targeted treatment. The goal is to see if this less invasive approach can manage the disease while reducing side effects.
