First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looked at how one session of foam rolling changes oxygen levels in the hamstring muscles of 36 healthy adults with tight hamstrings. Researchers measured muscle oxygen before and after rolling, and also checked flexibility. They wanted to see if men and women respond differently. The goal is to better understand how foam rolling works and if sex plays a role.
