New drink mix aims to stop painful UTIs without antibiotics

NCT ID NCT07453693

Summary

This study is testing whether a daily dietary supplement drink mix can help prevent recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs) in women. The drink contains D-mannose, vitamins, and electrolytes and is being compared against other approaches over six months. Researchers want to see if this non-antibiotic option can reduce UTI symptoms and improve urinary health days for women who frequently get infections.
