First seen Feb 24, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tests whether using a fluoride-releasing composite resin for attachments on clear aligners can prevent white spot lesions (early cavities). Twenty-four people aged 16-24 with mild crowding will have one side of their mouth get fluoride-releasing attachments and the other side standard attachments. Researchers will check for white spots at 3 and 6 months using a laser device.
