Summary
This study aims to understand why some critically ill patients in the ICU respond well to IV fluids while others do not. Researchers will observe 45 patients who are already scheduled to receive a standard fluid treatment. They will measure detailed changes in blood pressure and heart function to learn which patients benefit most from this common therapy.
