First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study tests whether a proactive fluid management plan helps critically ill patients with acute kidney injury who are on dialysis. The plan aims to keep fluid levels balanced by preventing and treating fluid buildup. About 150 adults in the ICU will be randomly assigned to either the fluid protocol or usual care to see if it improves outcomes.
