Summary
This study aims to understand how giving IV fluids to critically ill heart patients affects blood backup in their veins and their risk of kidney injury. Researchers will follow 250 adults in the cardiac ICU after surgery, using ultrasound scans to measure blood flow. The goal is to gather knowledge to help guide safer fluid use in the future.
