This study tested a new magnetic system (Flexagon SFM plus OTOLoc) to connect two parts of the small bowel during laparoscopic surgery. 79 adults who needed this type of surgery took part. The goal was to see if the device is safe and works well, avoiding the need for a second operation within 30 days.
