Summary
This study compares three surgical techniques for treating a type of anal fistula (an infected tunnel between the anal canal and skin). About 90 adults having their first surgery will be randomly assigned to one of three procedures. The goal is to see which method leads to the highest healing rate, lowest chance of the fistula coming back, and best recovery with minimal effect on bowel control.
