First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study looks at children with fistula-in-ano, a small tunnel that forms near the anus. Doctors place a soft thread called a seton to help drain and heal the area. The goal is to find out how long the seton should stay in to prevent the fistula from coming back. About 20 children up to age 18 will take part.
