Fire-Needle acupuncture boosts IVF success in women with repeated failure

NCT ID NCT07462754

First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looked at whether adding fire-needle acupuncture to regular acupuncture can improve pregnancy outcomes for women who have had multiple failed IVF attempts. Researchers compared three groups of 100 women: those who received no acupuncture, regular acupuncture alone, or a combination of fire-needle and regular acupuncture. The goal was to see if the combination treatment increased positive pregnancy tests and clinical pregnancies while reducing miscarriage rates.
