Two surgeries face off in battle against finger amputation pain

Summary

This study aims to find which of two surgical techniques works better for reducing pain after a traumatic finger amputation. Researchers will follow 50 adults who have had either a nerve reconnection surgery or a nerve removal surgery. They will track participants' pain levels and hand function over six months to see which approach leads to less pain and fewer complications.
