First seen Jan 14, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study tested whether the drug fexuprazan can prevent or control gastritis (stomach inflammation) symptoms in people who need to take systemic steroids for respiratory diseases. 42 adults took either fexuprazan or another drug (lansoprazole) for 4 weeks. Researchers tracked changes in stomach symptoms to see if fexuprazan works better at preventing problems.
