Summary
This study tested whether the drug fexuprazan can prevent or control gastritis (stomach inflammation) symptoms in people who need to take systemic steroids for respiratory diseases. 42 adults took either fexuprazan or another drug (lansoprazole) for 4 weeks. Researchers tracked changes in stomach symptoms to see if fexuprazan works better at preventing problems.
