First seen Apr 09, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study looked at whether measuring blood flow in the lungs of unborn babies using Doppler ultrasound could help predict breathing problems after birth. Researchers studied 86 pregnant women with severe preeclampsia between 28 and 37 weeks of pregnancy. The goal was to see if this test could give doctors an early warning about neonatal respiratory distress.
