New PET tracer may simplify pituitary tumor detection

Summary
This study tests if a new tracer called FET-PET can find pituitary tumors as well as the current standard tracer. Twenty adults with suspected pituitary adenomas will receive both scans to compare results. If FET-PET works as well, it could make this type of imaging more widely available.
