New hope for women struggling with low egg counts

NCT ID NCT05847283

Summary

This study aims to help women with low ovarian reserve collect more eggs for in vitro fertilization (IVF). It compares two different hormone treatment protocols: one using a daily pill (dydrogesterone) and another using daily injections (GnRH antagonist). The goal is to see if the simpler, pill-based method is as effective as the standard injection method for gathering eggs, which can then be frozen, fertilized, and used in future embryo transfers.
