Egg-Freezing showdown: which trigger yields more eggs for cancer patients?

NCT ID NCT07546136

First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at two ways to trigger ovulation in women with cancer who are freezing their eggs before starting cancer treatment. About 200 women will receive either one drug (GnRH-a) or a combination of two drugs (GnRH-a plus hCG) to see which method retrieves more eggs and causes fewer side effects. The goal is to improve fertility preservation outcomes while reducing the risk of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome.
