No-Surgery birth control trial seeks to block tubes without incisions

Summary
This study is testing FemBloc, a non-surgical method for permanent birth control that blocks the fallopian tubes through the cervix. Researchers are enrolling 573 women aged 21-50 who want permanent birth control to measure how well it prevents pregnancy over 5 years. The procedure doesn't require surgery or incisions and uses ultrasound to confirm placement.
