New combo therapy offers hope for myelofibrosis patients who failed standard care
NCT ID NCT05393674
First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tested a combination of two drugs, fedratinib and nivolumab, in 30 adults with myelofibrosis whose disease did not respond well to standard JAK-inhibitor therapy. The goal was to see if the combo could shrink the spleen, improve symptoms, or reduce the need for blood transfusions. The trial is now complete, and results will show whether this approach is safe and effective for controlling the disease.
