Gut bacteria transplant tested to boost cancer treatment

Summary
This study is testing whether adding a fecal microbiota transplant (FMT) to standard immunotherapy helps control advanced melanoma better. FMT aims to change the gut bacteria, which may improve how well the immune system fights cancer. The trial will compare the combination treatment to immunotherapy alone in 128 adults with advanced melanoma who haven't had this type of immunotherapy before.
