Poop pills tested to boost Cancer-Killing cell therapy

NCT ID NCT07042438

Summary

This study is testing whether a fecal microbiome transplant (FMT) can improve the effectiveness of CAR-T cell therapy for patients with hard-to-treat lymphoma. Participants who have taken strong antibiotics will receive either the FMT treatment or a placebo alongside their standard CAR-T therapy. Researchers want to see if restoring healthy gut bacteria helps patients respond better to the cancer treatment and reduces side effects.
