New fatty liver drug enters first human safety trial

Summary
This early-stage study tests whether a new medicine called NNC4005-0001 is safe and tolerable for adults with fatty liver disease and higher body weight. About 60 participants will receive either the drug or a placebo (inactive treatment) and be monitored for about 7-8 months. The main goal is to check for side effects, not to cure the disease.
