Body fat injection tested as new treatment for wrist pain
NCT ID NCT03722303
Summary
This study tests whether injecting a person's own fat tissue into the wrist works better than standard steroid injections for treating mild to moderate carpal tunnel syndrome. Researchers want to see if the fat can help reduce scarring and promote nerve healing. The trial will involve 100 adults who have had carpal tunnel symptoms for over six months.
