Summary
This study tests a two-step procedure to repair facial defects from injuries in 22 veterans. First, doctors use fresh fat from the patient's own body to fill the defect. Three months later, they use fat that was harvested during the first step and frozen, avoiding a second liposuction. The goal is to see if this approach safely improves facial appearance and tissue health.
