Ultrasound vs. compression: new hope for lipedema?
NCT ID NCT07404059
Summary
This study aims to see if adding ultrasound fat cavitation or pneumatic compression to standard therapy helps reduce fat thickness in women with lipedema. Ninety female participants with mild-to-moderate lipedema will be randomly assigned to receive one of these add-on treatments or just standard therapy for three months. The goal is to find better non-surgical options to manage this painful, progressive fat disorder.
