Race against time: new hospital plan aims to stop dangerous seizures in kids faster
NCT ID NCT06194747
Summary
This study is testing a new hospital system designed to get seizure-stopping medication to children faster when they experience a prolonged, dangerous seizure called status epilepticus. About 450 children across seven hospitals will be involved. The goal is to see if this new set of procedures reduces the time to treatment, which could lower the risk of brain damage, disability, or death.
