New plan aims to get kids home faster after gut surgery
NCT ID NCT07504549
Summary
This study is testing a special recovery plan for children having planned intestinal surgery. The plan includes steps like better pain control, starting to eat and move sooner after surgery, and avoiding unnecessary tubes. Researchers want to see if this plan helps kids recover faster, with fewer complications and a shorter hospital stay, compared to the usual care.
