First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests a new FDA-approved scanner that gives doctors a fast, detailed view of the surface of prostate tissue during surgery. The goal is to see if it can save at least 20 minutes compared to the current method of checking for leftover cancer cells. About 78 men with intermediate or high-risk prostate cancer who are scheduled for robot-assisted prostate removal will take part.
