First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study tests a new FDA-approved scanner that gives doctors a fast, detailed view of the prostate surface during surgery to find leftover cancer cells. The goal is to see if this method saves at least 20 minutes compared to the current technique. About 78 men with intermediate or high-risk prostate cancer who are scheduled for robot-assisted prostate removal will take part.
