Summary
This study tested whether making very small perforations in the jawbone could help teeth move faster during orthodontic treatment with braces. Researchers compared one side of the mouth (with the perforations) to the other side (without) in 40 young adults who needed premolars removed. They measured how quickly the canine teeth moved over 16 weeks and tracked patients' pain levels after the procedure.
