Summary
This study tested two methods to potentially speed up orthodontic tooth movement and improve gum health. 60 young adults with braces had minor gum surgery (piezocision), low-level laser therapy, or no extra procedure while their canine teeth were being moved. Researchers measured how quickly the teeth moved, if they rotated, and checked the health of the gums throughout the treatment.
