Summary
This study looked at whether fixing a hip fracture within 48 hours reduces the chance of death and other problems. Researchers followed 150 adults aged 50 and older who had hip surgery at Alexandria University Hospitals. They measured deaths within 30 days, blood clots, confusion after surgery, and how long people stayed in the hospital.
