NCT ID NCT04698018
First seen Dec 08, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looked at how quickly a fast-acting insulin (faster aspart) enters the blood in 23 Chinese adults with type 1 or type 2 diabetes. Participants received one injection of the test insulin and one of the standard insulin NovoRapid, in random order. Blood samples were taken over 12 hours to compare how the insulins were absorbed. The goal was to see if the faster insulin works more quickly, which could help improve mealtime blood sugar control.
