New eye drug trial aims to restore sight in macular degeneration patients

Summary

This study will test a medicine called faricimab in 50 people with a type of wet age-related macular degeneration (nAMD) that has not been treated before. Participants will receive four initial eye injections, then more as needed. The goal is to see if the treatment improves vision and eye structure, while monitoring safety.
