First seen Jan 26, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This early-stage trial tests a new mRNA vaccine that targets a protein called FAP found in cancer-supporting cells. The goal is to help the immune system fight advanced solid tumors like lung, colorectal, or pancreatic cancer. Ten adults who have not responded to standard treatments will receive the vaccine along with immunotherapy drugs. The study focuses on safety and whether the combination can shrink tumors or slow disease progression.
