New program helps families of kids with autism get the services they need

This study tested a family navigator program and app for low-resourced families of children aged 3-5 with autism. The goal was to help families learn about services, advocate for their child, and feel more empowered. 52 families took part, and researchers measured changes in knowledge, skills, and behavior over 9 months.
