NCT ID NCT01109420

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study looks at families where more than one person has a common type of thyroid cancer (non-medullary). The goal is to understand how the disease runs in families, find genes that might raise risk, and figure out the best way to screen for it early. People aged 7 and older with two close relatives who have had this cancer can join. Participants get yearly check-ups, including neck ultrasounds, to monitor for new tumors.
