Scientists test new devices to predict falls in amputees
NCT ID NCT06883942
Summary
This study tested new devices designed to detect tripping and slipping in people with leg amputations. Eight participants who had worn a prosthetic leg for at least a year walked on special platforms that simulated trips. The goal was to find measurable signs that could predict someone's risk of falling.
