Leg crouches and tenses may boost blood pressure in fainting kids

NCT ID NCT05633693

First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study looks at how different leg movements, like crossing legs or tensing muscles, affect blood pressure and blood flow in children aged 6-18 who faint often. Researchers will measure these responses in 30 children to understand how body movements can help control fainting. The goal is to learn more about the body's natural ways to prevent fainting, not to test a new treatment.
