New study seeks to unlock secrets of hospital stay after ERCP in seniors

Summary
This study follows 504 older adults (65+) who are having an ERCP, a procedure to treat bile duct or pancreas problems. The goal is to find out why some patients end up staying in the hospital for more than 5 days after the procedure. Researchers will look at many factors, including age, frailty, and mental health, to better predict and prevent long hospital stays.
