NCT ID NCT07395115
First seen Feb 13, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study observed 65 adults having spine surgery while lying face-down to see if this position changes the nerve at the back of the eye and affects vision. Researchers used ultrasound to measure eye nerve size before and during surgery, and checked vision the next day. The goal was to understand what factors might lead to vision changes, not to test a treatment.
