First seen May 11, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study collects and analyzes tears from 300 people with healthy eyes or with conditions like dry eye, eye infections, allergic conjunctivitis, or mucous membrane pemphigoid. The goal is to create a unique protein and metabolite "fingerprint" for each disease to better understand them. No treatments are tested; this is purely an observational study to gather knowledge.
