Study tests which eye numbing medicine works better for kids

NCT ID NCT05926258

Summary

This study tested two different numbing medicines used during eye exams for children and teenagers. Researchers compared a gel form (Chloroprocaine) with standard eye drops (Oxybuprocaine) to see which one worked better to numb the eye surface. The goal was to find a safe and effective option to make routine eye procedures more comfortable for young patients.
