Weekly chemo tested for rare, spreading eye cancer
NCT ID NCT00244816
Summary
This study tested a weekly chemotherapy drug called Taxoprexin in patients whose eye melanoma had spread to other parts of the body. The goal was to see if the treatment could shrink tumors, control the disease, and extend survival. The treatment was given weekly for five weeks in a six-week cycle and continued until the cancer progressed or side effects became too severe.
